• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... You can actually program the favorite button to Home. I actually did that since I couldn't figure out a way to get to the Home screen on Apple CarPlay without having to click through multiple screens. Maybe others can provide feedback if there's another optimized way to get to the KIA Home Screen without having to take up the favorite button for that command.
And how do you do that? 🤔. That’s the only thing you left off. 🤭

Setup > Button > Custom Button > Select "Home"
Thank you. I figured it out finally and you’re right, it’s easier to set the Home button as the Favorite to get back to the Home Screen quicker.

In CarPlay, on the home screen swipe left or right until you see the app icon page. The Kia app will take you back to UVO. From there you may need to press the UVO home button if not already there.

Yea it’s sucks to do that while driving. Too many steps, was wondering if there was a dedicated home button without taking up the favorite button.

Anyone annoyed that the exit assist (slide seat back) activated as soon as you shut the engine off. Lots of times I wait in the car and the seat move too far back (normal setting, not extend) to comfortably reach the infotainment. My other car activated when the door opens.

and Even though I turned off the “height“ it still lowers the seat

Ahh, I figured some drivers wouldn't like it, but I ❤️ exit assist 😋

Was waiting in line for gas when I shifted to N so the audio would stay on after shutting off the engine. The seat didn’t move so it was a pleasant surprise. I still think it should be activated by the door though.

Tried that, it was nice to be able to move your right leg after 4hr drive 😁. I was surprised to learn it doesn’t stay after shutt off but it might be a good thing. I don’t want that on when when stopping downhill, especially if my wife drives. Have it on my Subaru but turned off.

Use that all the time! Just did today at Costco in fact. Nice to be able to leave the car in D but not have to keep your foot on the break.

Re: the LED back-up light upgrade ........what does it take to install ?

OK, this is the epitome of a "little thing". My grandkids will be visiting soon, so I ran to the grocery store to get a box of popsicles. It was a really hot day and I was worried about them melting on the way home. So naturally I pulled up one of the back shades, put the bag on the seat, and turned the cooling function to high. Worked great! :) My grandkids are too young to appreciate cooling seats yet (still in car seats), but their treats do!

I was jamming to some good tunes when I noticed the car automatically lowers the volume when the 360-degree cameras are active (either while in reverse or just on demand). It seems to know I could use fewer distractions during these maneuvers. (y) In previous cars, how many times have I unthinkingly turned down the volume when the car is in a tight spot? Hmm

Look for a YouTube video (there are two really good ones), but also replace the license plate lights. Here’s what I ordered and installed 4 hours after I took delivery on 6/22.

Living in Texas and playing tennis 3 days a week, I especially appreciate the automatic sensor that turns my driver seat cooler on as soon as I hit the Start button. ☀️
