• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The Owner’s Manual is Now Online!

Thanks! Seems odd the max trailer weight is 5,000 lbs, but the max tongue load is 351 lbs? Not the more standard 10%. That may be a deal killer for me unless it's a mistype.

Can you view the the owners manual in the big 10.25 inch screen of the telluride ? I guess not. If so that would be a great touch and not having to lug around something big that barely fits the glove box ..... Thanks for the pdf. i guess i will save it in my phone and throw the hard copy under my big pile books i never read...

I find that the manual doesn’t render properly on my iPad. All the graphics work on my PC. The manual could also be stored in the cubby behind the 3rd row.

That cubby behind third row and to the left side is awesome. My manual is there, also a microfiber and a little spray bottle for all the shiny piano gloss and screens that attract fingerprints.

Most definitely .. I keep my road hazard lights and rubber gloves (in case I need to change a tire and don't want to get filthy) in that cubby as it has the jack. Everything else goes underneath in the larger cubby .. the Encyclopœdia Telluride (aka Users' Manual!), moving blanket, survival backpack with food/water/etc (in the event the Zombie Apocalypse hits), and other sundries.

Here's a link to the hazard lights … I recommend everyone have these in their vehicles!

I using the same Light Flashing Roadside emergency, it's a great stuff to keep in your car in case you need it!

This is a little off topic of the Telluride, but I have a question for your techy folks in here....If I clicked the link on the pdf file above (post#1), it opens up on a new tab on my browser (Chrome). I can use "find" and do a word search on the document with no problem.

Here's the rub that I'm experiencing....if I save/download the same pdf, it doesn't/can't find any of the words I'm searching for.

Are you using a PC or tablet? On a pc, You should be able to press ctrl-F to find text.

PC.

Ctr F only works on the online manual...but not on the downloaded version. Just weird.

I mean it works on the downloaded version, it just doesn’t return any hits after searching all 500+ pages.

I just tried on my work PC. I'm using Windows 10 and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (free version). Ctrl F followed by a text string works fine for me. For example I typed in power window and the PDF jumped to the first instance of the text in the PDF file. Be sure that Acrobat is up-to-date.

I don't see any issue finding words on the said PDF, from page 1 to the last page 579. I searched "KIA motors America" and its search to the end.

The only issue I have is that when viewed on an iPad in iBooks, images are not rendering correctly or are just missing from the PDF. Maybe iOS 13 will fix these issues. Viewing on PC is no problem for me.

Yeah...I tried it at my work computer and it worked liked its supposed to.

I guess I need to do some configuring/updating on my home PC. Thanks all!

New Tongue weight is 500

No supplemental manuals yet (nav, UVO, etc.) but the biggie just dropped...

2020 Telluride Owner’s Manual
Thanks for the link. I am still trying to figure out some of the features and it’s a bit easier to scroll through this. However, the illustrations leave something to be desired, lol. At least in my download - they’re basically ghosts and partial illustrations. Thank you!

I found that the PDF does not render correctly on iOS devices (can't confirm Android). For me the PDF and illustrations look OK on Windows 10

late but late...
on my fairly new PC some images are, as someone described ghosts in tiny red blobs...
others look just fine.
???
