• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When I was planning on buying a Stinger I was looking for a car that's comfortable and luxurious but also nice to look at. The Stinger is hot! But it was the GT that drew me in. When I saw the 2.0, which is the one I could afford, it was missing some of the aggressive looks I really wanted.

For me to buy the Telluride I want or need it to be

  1. soft riding. I want luxury not sport. I don't think anyone has test driven the Telluride yet but I'd love to know if it's stiff, soft or something between
  2. quiet. I don't want a lot of wind noise and road noise. The Stinger did great here in all forms. I'm waiting for a few reviewer test drives to see what they say here.

Everything else I like. I'm pretty sure I'm be good with the base LX. But we'll see. What do you think these things will be like with the Telluride? Have you heard anything/. Any reviews yet that I've missed?

I'm pretty sure you're going to get a good mix of both your wants. I'm hearing the ride is very soft and that the Telluride is generally quiet. Though not quite as quiet as the Stinger...

I test drove an AWD EX a couple days ago and posted some thoughts in another thread. I thought the ride was quite soft and the car was pretty quiet. Maybe a little louder than my Accord when accelerating, but nice for a big SUV.

Resale value. Rightly or wrongly the Kia brand is still considered tacky by the uniformed. Hopefully the Telluride will help change that perception. I tend to change cars every 3-4 years so look for something that will hold its value.
