• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’ve been driving my 2023 for 6 months now and only just now noticed the third row center seatbelt was apparently installed incorrectly. The belt (overhead) should be easily accessible but it looks like the installer forgot a step. The end of the belt is stuffed inside the plastic cover and impossible to withdraw. I called Kia of puyallup I see it as a safety issue but still they said they cannot get me in for 3 weeks. I have 2 trips coming up real soon that will require that 3rd row center belt. I’d like to remove the cover to fix it myself but can’t seem to find any info online and the Kia service guy said he didn’t know where to look. Pulling the cover back on the edges seems to reveal some of those plastic snap-in fasteners common to interior stuff and I already have the tool for that, but it’s really hard to see in there so not sure… anybody dealt with this before? I’ve attached a pic of what I’m dealing with as well as a pic of what it’s supposed to look like.. thank you
