• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone used a product called Black Magic Tire Shine? I sprayed some on my tires, and it’s still tacky a couple of weeks later. Any ideas on how to remove it? A better product??
Thanks!

hey @cvlwrnut , looks like you've fallen victim to the cost-effective but non-water-based tire products that 'sling' & linger!
it will eventually go, but if you're not as patient with multiple washes you could try a degreaser or even (messy) baking soda & distilled vinegar scrub (carefully near wheels).

best product i've ever used is AMMO MUD

all best,

I would also recommend what @ottoSXP said about cleaning it with a degreaser. make sure to dilute the degreaser if its from concentrate.

I personally use Chemical Guys VRP for the tire dressing it water based. I also use it for my plastic trim on the lower parts of the car.
