• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone else noticed the lack of these in failcat? What's up? If you order a towing package good luck.

That’s not accurate. Failcat is not sorting properly when you launch the main page. If you look at the most recent VINs on the homepage, but then re-sort by newest date to oldest, you’ll see them dated today and the last several days, and all throughout May.

For sure a low number or towing production showing in the last week or so.

Not sure that I agree with that statement. It's sorted by descending serial number - VIN's are created sequentially. The date is the date that failcat scraped the data - there is no guarantee that it is scraped in sequence even though they try to and it also depends on when KIA posts online

EDIT - if you look at this (it has stopped being updated)
The logic is the go sequentially through the VIN's to see if you get a valid hit. If you do, update the sheet. This is the same as the failcat logic. I'm guessing that there may be supply chain issues with tow equipment.

As per post 3, using that app and working backwards to get the VIN, that should have been generated in April. Probably picked up in May due to the logic of looking backwards and trying to fill in the blanks.

@StephenCantrelle are you guys hearing about a production issue with the tow package, or is it common for Kia to produce large batches at a time with/without certain options?

Kia has been building in blocks/batches on the Telluride since it came out. No word on shortage or delays from Kia on our side
