Nothing official from Kia yet.. if an order pending as a 2022 is not filled when changeover occurs then order will need to be re-entered with the 2023 specs and updated colorsdoes anyone know the cut off date when the factory will switch over to making the 2023 models? And what happens if an order for a 2022 has not been filled by that date?
Thanks.
Mark

Just FYI on my experience picking up with Fowler. In June my initial eta from dealer was 7/19. At the same time Stephen here said 7/11. I Assumed dealer was padding just in case. When date was two weeks out, I reached out here and was still given 7/11. Then reached out to dealer and they updated me to 7/11. I set up my travel plans and initial pick up date appointment for 7/13. On 7/8 I recontacted both dealer and Stephen and the date was moved back to 7/19. So I bumped all travel plans 1 week.Hahaha! That is amazing and very rare I'd think! Yeah trying to get travel plans ready. Really wanted to take a road trip before school started in Texas but we'll have to fit a long weekend in to pick up our ride. I know nothing is 100% but are your delivery dates fairly accurate? Thanks again for your help Stephen!
Thanks for the heads up! I've been contacting my sales rep to stay up to date on eta but trying not to be a pest lol. We haven't booked any flights yet but might have to soon before prices go up. My sales person indicated it was unusual for it to be bumped so close to delivery, but all their cars come from factory via train to a main rail yard where they wait to be loaded onto truck for final delivery.
My Telluride ultimately arrived at the dealer on 7/15. I already had plans set to pick up on 7/20, so I left it at that date.

Oh wow, that was quick, thank you! Dealer told me last week that expected delivery date was 8/27. Sounds like I should get my trade in vehicle
So I spoke with dealer today and verified that the VIN I provided is indeed mine (I was pretty sure it was based on failcat info and the 8/27 date I was given) but got 100% clear confirmation it is. Wanted to double check for insurance purposes.
Now is there any reason why they would tell me 8/27 but you are seeing 8/19 in the system, just out of curiosity? Seems like a lot of customers have experienced the other way around and told a sooner date than what it ends up being so wasn’t sure if this was just to be conservative or if there are other factors at play?
Next Saturday can’t come soon enough, feel like a kid at Christmas!!
