I have been considering purchasing a K5 GT that has been on a dealer’s lot for about two months. I have concerns that it may be one of the hail damaged vehicles and that I am not being advised of that. The VIN is 5XXG44J80PG218379. Can you tell me whether it was damaged?

It is not a hail damaged car. Dealer from my understanding must disclose to you if it is and you have to sign a form in order for them to sell.

Well this is fishy. I just paid a deposit to hold it for me with absolutely no mention of the hail damage. $3,000 non-refundable if I back out before “hold date” and told me it was scheduled to be at dealer 6/26. I wanted to cross reference to see how accurate… any advice? I told them if it wasn’t in by august then I’d have to get one elsewhere and they assured me that wouldn’t be the case.
