• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does anyone else's Telluride seem to struggle a bit when starting? I have a new SX w/ ~1,400 miles, and the last couple times I've started it, it's like it tries to start, struggles, then revs hard and actually starts.

Is it cold where you are? You may need a new battery.

It's been mid 30s this week - I was hoping the battery wouldn't be an issue with such a new car - only had it a couple weeks!

There is a thread here about it. Some new vehicles needed new batteries. Search for it.

Read through all of those - doesn't seem like the same thing.

My 2020 did that very intermittently and then it never happened again. Made me weary a bit but it never once failed to start.

How long are you waiting when getting into the drivers seat before you start the engine? I think there are some automated functions to prime the engine fuel injector you can hear when the car is off, and you get into the car. Maybe give it 5-10 seconds when you get into the car before starting and see if it improves the start at all. Could be starting too quick before the priming?

New cars dont need priming
