• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just had my 2020 Telluride in for service for this code and glad that I was able to find this TSB and take it with me to the dealership. My vehicle currently has around 88k miles, so I went ahead and had the transmission serviced as I had planned to do that between 90-100k.

I took my 2020 telluride with 80000 and a copy of the TSB today and they told me it would be $310 to do the update because the vehicle is out of warranty. Then they told me that if I dont do the update the transmission is going to start acting up and the vehicle will go in limp mode! help

Drivetrain warranty is 100k.

BS meter is off the scale...

As others have said, this repair is not limited by the warranty. Speak to the service manager or try another dealer.
