My concern is that we really want the EX with a 2nd row bench and AWD. Here's hoping they don't do away with that as an option. From what I have read, the X-Line only has captain chairs...

That's what drew us to the Telluride. We have 4 kiddos and we'd like to be able to take a couple of their friends with us. My fingers are crossed that we'll get a 2022 or be able to get what we want in the 2023.

I think people have done black out package themselves after the fact. Not sure how much it costs to chrome delete everything and powder coat the wheels black.

Car companies are lousy at getting timely details to consumers about model-year changes. Just awful. E.g., Monroney stickers for built 2023 Palisade are already circulating, but the Hyundai website has no 2023 configurator or other detailed model information, just auto show-style generalities. Kia is no better -- maybe worse, since I don't think you can tell from the primary Kia website that the 2023 Telluride has even been announced yet (a search for "2023 Telluride" yields nada).

At least Hyundai has made some information available. They released their full price and specifications list for the US over three weeks ago. That tells you basically everything you would want to know except showing what the regular SE, SEL, and Limited actually look like (so far, they’ve only released pictures of the Calligraphy and the XRT).

Unfortunately, nothing similar has been available from Kia, causing speculation and peoples’ imaginations to run rampant.

I saw a 2023 light brown interior on the XPro. It looked really nice. I thought it was butterscotch but the unofficial 2023 trims says they only have black or mahogany interior.

How would you compare Dune Brown to the upcoming Mahogany and Terracotta, especially in combination with Glacier Gray?

I was unable to get any interior pictures. Maybe what I saw was the mahogany not butterscotch. @yDD5 says the interior brown color that is posted is probably mahogany

Darn it, the EX won't have mahogany interior available, so I have to go with black, terracotta (red) or grey interior.

That I doubt that picture is terracotta. I expected more red color but it looks straight brown.

There should be an EX AWD that comes standard with bench seating, just like it does now. Looks like the captain’s chairs will be a package (no longer called “Premium”).

Note that there are no LX, S, or EX AWD models listed in the first post here… but they really will surely exist. Information from dealers confirms those models will exist in AWD.

As before, basically anything at or above what used to be the EX Premium will be captains chairs only. That includes all of the X-Line and X-Pro models.

Is the leather actually different in the XLine versus the non XLine? Or is it merely just the nicer stitching and interior color options? Now I’m bummed I can’t get terracotta unless mahogany is similar. I guess I can forgo the stitching. I’ll just chrome delete everything afterwards.

The SX isn’t going to have a bench seat. I’m not sure where you’re seeing anything suggesting that.

And we don’t really know anything officially about what the interior material situation is going to be. It wouldn’t be surprising if some of them have synthetic options due to them being more “rugged” or durable. We will find out soon enough!

SX doesn’t offer bench seating. XLine EX AWD doesn’t offer bench seating. XLine SX AWD doesn’t offer bench seating. Looks like EX FWD might be the highest trim with bench seating now that the EX AWD without XLine isn’t available anymore. Kia isn’t friendly toward large families!
