Update 2: RETURNED!!! I went to another dealer and while they were hesitant they took it in. Thanks to everyone who tried to help. Love this community here.

Update 1: Dealer that gave me problems called me up this morning and apologized, A person named Stephanie said I should come in and she will make it right. I get there, and nobody knows who she is and they give me the runaround that unless I get a new car through them they won’t take it in! SHAME ON YOU PLAZA KIA!

Any Kia dealer in the NYC Tristate are willing to take back my Kia Sorento before the 23rd? Willing to pay, just take it back.

P.S. Before you ask, I cannot return it to my original dealer (long story).

Great example is what happened just an hour ago with a KIA dealer. Had an appointment at 8:15 with a guy named Damien, Arrive there at 8, no one is there except one person and conversation goes like this:

Guy: Can I help you?
Me: I have an appointment with Damien.
Guy: Damien left an hour ago.
Me: I have a text from you guys confirming the appointment.
Guy: Regarding?
Me: Returning my lease.
Guy (Getting Angry): No way you had an appointment with us. We don't return lease here.
Me: I was on the phone with you guys to confirm it.
Guy: You're lying, no way we could have done that as we do not return leases here.
Me: I'll show you the text.
Guy: Doesn't matter go back to where you leased from. I will not take back the car.

... Just gets worse from here.

You can turn your lease in at any location per the contract.. why will no one take your car in?

If your car can be sold after you turn it in , and you either pay it off or roll the difference into another lease, there is no reason for them to say no. Sounds fishy.

I already leased my Telluride from Jason and Lucas at Kia of Muncie, They are awesome (Actually that's an understatement, They're F*cking Awesome). It's an 11 Hour drive, so not preferable.
