• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... when I plug in a flash drive with light indicator to the USB port in the center console it lights up and stays lit even with the ignition off. Is this going to drain my battery if I leave it in?

Did it stay lit after you opened the door and locked it from outside? Usually accessory power is still on until you exit the vehicle after turning off the engine.

I leave my USB drive in the slot for days with not driving it (nowhere to go while in lock down) and it hasn't had any issues.

FYI because it happened to me, if you use a normal sized USB stick, don't close the lid. Mines was stuck for awhile, there's a thread on it. Thought I had broken mine at first to get it open but finally got it. Bought a mini USB drive instead.
