• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... On another thread, something got me wondering about the UVO app..
My question is how does UVO communicate to the Telluride?
I mean, I get the concept of connecting to your smartphone via Bluetooth and all.
But... when I have my cell phone with me and I want to start my Telluride via the UVO app, it is out of range for the Bluetooth. So how does the Telluride "listen" to communication to be able to remote start and set internal temp?

I hope I'm clear with describing my question.

Thank you for the response.

So when the 2yr subscription for UVO runs out, the monthly fee is $5-6. Are you essentially paying for LTE?

You are paying for KIA's internal telemetric hardware to continue to Communicate with your app and vehicle...

my Car told me uvo free for 1 year and so does the site. I thought they didn’t have the pricing set for uvo yet. Wish it was for at least 3 years free :(

In Canada we get 5 year uvo intelligence for free. Pricing for coverage after 5 years has not yet been released.

I have no idea, but when you agree to uvo you agree to Verizon. Is different in Canada.
