If it is in-fact a security breach/ransom attack I hope they give us free credit monitoring for a year!Yes glad its back. I hope they do the right thing and give us a credit or a free month.
Apology accepted, thank you.I don't have a problem with you. My last post was out of line and I apologize.
They may have been able to get back up with backups and new hardware. Time will tell I suppose. You pay these ass hats their “ransom” and it just opens doors for others to do the sameYup - back on line...must’ve paid the hackers![]()
Lawyer speak...probably won't be transparent about what really happened. Either way they just have to make sure it doesn't happen again!
Kia and Hyundai are denying this really happened.![]()
Kia Reportedly Under Ransomware Attack With $20M Demand
Kia could even have to pay over $30 million in bitcoin if it doesn't pay quickly enough. The automaker has alleged the hack didn't happen.www.motor1.com
You will be more disappointed when you find out basic plan does not even include remote start.Mine hasn't worked in a while. I am very frustrated with this app. It always takes too long to start my car. Sometimes I have to try multiple times. It will not start today. I constantly have issues with it. I just renewed the basic plan as I am not a total fan, but, want the remote starter. It is costly for just a remote starter that doesn't work.
Yep, mine too. Mine has not worked again correctly since the last time it shut down due to the 'NON hacker' attack. I stopped getting notifications after that and it would not update properly. Although I use it a lot I would not be willing to pay for it after my 1 year trial if this is a routine problem.Today 3/3/21 10:01a; my UVO app is down again![]()
