• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Four months ago, our kid turned on valet mode and forgot the password. We’ve reset password, reset pin, deleted app, reinstalled app, reset both via website, done the reset button, disconnected and reconnected the battery, and UVO sent a deactivate signal. Nothing has worked. Four months later, it’s still in valet mode. We cannot use the radio, navigation, or any features. Pretty annoyed because it’s a 22 which we purchased in July 21 and this happened in January. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on solutions?

What did the dealer say? You'd think they could try getting certain parts replaced after 4 months of not being able to get it to work. Do you have Kia corporate involved?

We haven’t yet gone to the dealer, it’s just a far drive. UVO seemed to think it would be fixed after the deactivation signal was sent. We’re just going to have to make the trip to the dealer.

We haven’t been to dealer yet, they’re over an hour away. Is there anything the dealer can do? I’m thinking they’d refer us back to UVO support. Don’t have corporate involved, didn’t even think of that!!

I'd start with the dealer before you register a complaint with corporate. They're going to want to know which dealership you took it to for repair. Not knowing where the problem lies, the dealership would be the place to start. If resetting the UVO stuff doesn't work, the issue is likely something with the vehicle. Either way, let the dealership figure it out, it's what they're there for.
