It also wouldn't surprise me if there was a major month-end push to try to meet certain production goals, and that things taper off a bit afterwards to potentially let parts inventories or shipping logistics to catch up.

That didn't happen at the end of June or July. What gaps you do see are around the weekend. But as August came to a close - production decreased every day for a week like they were headed to a shut down. Hopefully things pick back up after Labor Day.

So when a VIN gets inputted on failcat does that mean that is the build going to that dealer and now you have a 9 month wait basically for it? Or did the dealer receive that allocation basically that day?

They basically received allocation that day. Mine made it to the dealer about 2 or 3 weeks later.

Out of curiosity and since I probably can't use Failcat as good as others, are we able to see how many of each vehicle were made? Like, could I know how many SWP/AWD/Butterscotch SXs were made as 2021s? I'd like to get a 1 of xxx plaque and sell it for a huge profit.

When a Vin numbers generates on Failcat it is typically 24-48 hours after Telluride is built. The time it take to arrive to dealership varies from location from West Point Georgia Plant. Also depends on transport delays and if it need to be put on a rail system(train yard) before being transported via Car hauler or if in close proximity to plant and goes out directly via car hauler. Wait time can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 1.5 months
