• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My car today started shaking violently after 40 mph. Not sure what is the problem. All tiers look good and nothing stuck under the car ... Need to take it to the shop tomorrow

Do you have snow or ice stuck to the inside of your wheels? That can cause them to be out of balance and produce a vibration at higher speeds. The same thing can happen with mud.

Yes i drove on 6" snow and ice this morning and soon after i observed it. It went away evening when i drove. That must be it. You are a saviour. I have been very down the whole day thinking what it could be... Thanks.

Funny timing, I had that exact same issue yesterday. The shaking was quite intense. I stopped and found that the inside of some of the wheels was covered in packed snow. I cleaned everything and went on my way, without any shaking this time. Gotta remember to clean the wheels if parking in a snow embankment I guess 🤷‍♂️
