Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Voice memo and software update?

All,

I have a 22 Telluride and I’ve never done the software update (I’ve been in IT for 20+ years, and I know I shouldn’t fix something if it ain’t broke). With that said, I’m thinking about updating even though I’ll miss the nixe tubes. But, my REAL question is, do the voice memos get deleted when it updates? I have 2 boys who have recorded sweet and funny memos over the years and I don’t want to erase them.
