• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Voluntary FCA Service Campaign

I got same thing and my dealer updated it same day.
My dealership updated my 22 WG SX Prestige yesterday while I waited. Upon completion, the service attendant told me my car would be ready in a couple of minutes they’re just running it through the car wash. I told her no car wash, hand wash only. She unsuccessfully tried to reach the driver. Too late, it went through the car wash. She apologized. I was none too pleased. It was raining. I asked her who runs a car through a car wash in the rain. She said it was Kia’s policy to wash every new car after service, and they get rated by following policy. At least if my nightfall trim begins flaking and bubbling, the dealership can’t blame me for taking it through car washes because I’ll need to in the winter. I was only following their lead. Are car washes for new cars after servicing standard procedure?

Happened to me during normal use. This is considered a cosmetic defect and the dealer will cover it no questions asked. If you are dealing with a dealer who is refusing to do this then go find another one, then file a complaint with corporate.

Completed in under one hour along with oil chan6and tire rotation, inflated at 33, makes the ride more plush and once they heat up the PSI goes right to 35 which is what is recommended from the factory on your door sills.

I picked up my car on 09/02. It should have this fix installed from Factory right?
Does EX has this FCA functionality? I do not receive any warning sounds/vibrations for vehicles in front like LKA which works amazingly well.

When i do lane change without turn signal, it pushes and keeps in the same line. Does it check the vehicles in front of the lane before pushing back into the same line. I need to make sure to turn on signal for every lane change though anyway.

The only scenario you would receive FCA or FCW warnings is if you are traveling at a speed that would result in a forward collision. Only way to see that is to brake really late or tailgate. Both cases are not really worth testing.

FCA doesn’t have anything to do with LKA. Signal or no signal, it works by the same principle for forward collisions.

Thanks for the update. Good to know it works during emergency situations even with EX trim. LKA does provide constant feedback in terms of changing colors (green and white), blinking and heptic feedback from steering.

recommended tire pressure is 35 COLD

Car glides after the update, rides easier and effortless, engine seems eager. Not sure if is a combination of all things or just one but oil was changed, tires rotated and lowered to 33 PSI and the FCA updated, so maybe they reset the shift point for the transmission at the se time with the update so now the transmission and engine are in "learning" mode? Whatever it is very pleased with the ride after one year of ownership even though the Kia subscription just ended today.
