Hi Everyone! New here to the club but joined the forum last year. We have finally decided to put in an order but seems the only options are out of state. Read that Kia Chamblee does MSRP but since KFOS is not open no one is taking orders yet. Like @mjeffv would love to take a test drive if one was available. Looking to to get SX-P with Towing white/dune brown (yes, high demand trim). Also considering SX FWD w/towing. Any comments on prestige vs non-prestige. I can do without AWD being here in GA.

Not sure how far Rosqell is from Greenwood SC..maybe 2 hours or so but you can check them out. Kia of Greenwood SC, drove from Augusta to there to get mine. If you do ask for Ryan, he's a good guy.

Well, we finally got to test drive an SXP today. It was a Dark Moss/Dune Brown Nightfall combo and the test drive was everything we imagined. The only things we didn't like were small and certainly not enough to detract us from buying. Had they had one in Black Copper, we might have impulsively walked out with one even with the $3745 addendum (paint/upholstery protection and a couple other things which were essentially a markup). I am not sure whether we will order from an MSRP dealer, wait for supply to catch up/markups to go away, keep doing the Failcat tango, or wait for a CPO but I am sure that eventually, we will be in one.

If you want to pay the markup then you should grab it now! No one can predict the future with inventory catching up. Don't think that will be anytime soon.
True but July was an amazing production month (over 2000 SXPs) so we can hope. They didn't have the color I wanted so its order from one from MN/IN or wait to find a Black Copper someplace via Failcat.
If time is on your side I’d suggest you put in an order with Muncie and wait it out. If you wait to order it will most definitely be an even longer wait. Besides you can always cancel.

I’m in Atlanta and ended up going with Jim Ellis of Kennesaw. I went in to get an appraisal on my truck bc I was actually planning on saving up and getting one in December. But they were able to give me a good enough deal on my truck and financing where I could afford the telluride. What sealed the deal was they had the exact exterior and interior color and and trim that we we’re search for so we kinda lucked out with everything. They do 3k over msrp but you get some perks for that like key fob replacements and other stuff. If you go in there talk to Bryson and let him know I sent ya!

My daughter bought a Seltos in May, looked at the Telluride then, loved it. But was not ready to purchase...wanted to wait until Fall 2021, but my 2010 Jeep Commander had other plans, blew my head gasket and decided it was not worth replacing the motor. Looked at a couple at dealership in Cartersville, was not the color I wanted and they were 9-10k more, so I decided to order. Ordered Gravity Grey/ black/ tow/ SX in July. Was told should have it by Nov...dealership updated possible mid Oct.
So, with Husband working from home and Son doing virtual school, being down a vehicle has not cause us many issues, thank goodness!!!!
