• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What have you done / plan to do to your Telly?

Blacked out the 2022 KIA badges. Used Hyperdip's Piano Black which is their version of a gloss black. Also, blacked out the exhaust tips with gloss black paint. Visually ties everything together on my NF edition. Should have come from the factory like this.

I'll get some photos taken and posted for you soon. It was my first time using Hyperdip and I've never used Plasti Dip. So, first time and I believe the results are comparable to what I've seen on Hyperdip's videos. Definitely "glossy" compared to Plasti Dip. The exhaust tips were spray can painted which I have some experience with and the result was as expected, glossy. Also, if you have any questions about the process for either let me know.

Looks great, nice work! Would love suggestions on spray-painting exhaust tips, down to the exact paint used and how/where you taped things off. Yes they should come this way! Thx

While I don't have my Telly yet, I do plan to do quite a few things to it when it arrives the first week of October. First off might be getting some smaller rims (thinking 18s) and wrapping them in A/T tires. Not really sure what the best size/tire combo would be on stock suspension to prevent rubbing, though. I have always been pretty bad at assessing that. I am also looking for recommendations of good wheel manufacturers if anyone has good suggestions. I like the appearance of a bead lock wheel but not really sure if there is anything extra required for them.

1. The paint I used for the exhaust tips: DE1613 Engine Enamel with Ceramic, Gloss Black,12 oz. Size
2. I decided to remove the muffler to paint it. I recommend this method as it is very easy to remove, doesn't take long and you get much better coverage. Then you don't have to tape anything off.
3. To remove the muffler, I first removed the nuts at the first union. Then used some lubricant on the rubber muffler hangers to make it easier to remove. I don't have a hanger removal pliers so the lubricant helps. I removed them from the muffler with the exception of the passenger side hanger which I removed at the body which was the last one I removed. You'll see why once you get there. Just no leverage. In retrospect it might have been easier to remove it before removing the hanger at the end of the muffler.
4. Paint several light coats and allow it to get tacky between coats. Then one or two gloss coats.

Hi everyone! Everyone's Telluride looks incredible. I'm so glad I found this forum, I'm looking to get some mods done to my 2022 but so far I can't find any parts for my year. Does anyone know if the 2021 and the 2022 are the same specs? For example I'm looking to get a Borla exhaust, I would love a Flowmaster but oh well, and a K&N CDI but its only for 2020 and 2021, if I get parts for 2021 would it fit on my 2022? Thank you for your help in advanced.

Pretty sure they where painted!👍 Plenty of pictures here where some members have posted pictures of the process. Not hard at all to do. Just take your time remove it and spray it. Just make sure to clean it good and light sanding with a very fine sand paper. Last step use some rubbing alcohol to clean it up good and let it air dry. Tape anything you don’t want painted and go to work on applying light coats. Just make sure to let each coat dry in between coats. Use High Temp Spray paint🧐🥳

Nice mods. Different for sure you made it unique. Mind sharing a few more pics. Full front pic and full side pic where we can see it all 😁
Here are morr pics:

Little project. Just waiting to see how I will power the fog lights. Trying to figure out if once I remove the front number to install the new cover and long with the fog lights there will be a connector to plug them in. Someone chime in and help👍 By the way I have an EX.

dmja1234 - I removed the muffler and painted it. Review my earlier post on what paint I used and how I painted it.
