• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What vehicle did you trade in?

I’ve leased that past couple, so it was a 2017 Cadenza. The Sx prestige is like a having a large cadenza, very impressive.
I am trading my 2015 cadenza if I didn’t need a truck I would have bought out this lease. Love the Cadenza ! So I should love the Telly!

I traded our 2011 Subaru Outback with 120k miles when we got our SX. Probably could've got more going privately but our SX came 3 weeks early and I wasn't prepared.

I did go to carmax to see what they offered me and they came in at 5k. The dealer low ball offered 3.5k and I was able to haggle them up to 5k to match carmax. So with the tax break I was about 5.5k. Not great but not horrible either

2014 Ford Edge traded Sunday for the SX Black/ Black.

I am trading in a 2017 Porsche Cayenne S. I have three older Porsche is that I am going to keep. I can’t even change the oil on the new ones because it takes special equipment to reset the maintenance reminder. Also I cannot change the battery myself because it has to be coded to the engine computer and only Porsche can do that. They quoted me $700 for a new battery. I ordered an SXP But I imagine it will be at least a couple of months before I see it. Thanks to everybody who posts on these forms I have learned a lot.

So the dealer will be paying you? Haha.

I took a lot of heat. But I traded in a 2018 Corvette Grand Sport and couldn't be happier with the trade.
Traded in a 2009 MB S550 with about 120k miles on it. The drive was still amazing but everytime something needed to be fixed (and it started building up) it cost an arm and a leg.

2019 Cadillac XT5 Platinum with about 7500 miles. Beautiful car with all the bells, but ride was too stiff and space was limited in back. Telluride is quiet and comfortable and has much more space. It was nice to not only get the Telluride but also a check.
I traded my 2018 XT5 as well. I agree, stiff, small and noisy !!

2017 Chrysler Pacifica, 40,000 miles for a white sxp with dune brown interior.

No trade here. Gave my 2011 Honda Pilot with about 109,000 miles on it to my 16 year old son. Win win for both of us. He gets a reliable and safe first vehicle and I got a major upgrade.
