what would you think of a diesel telluride?

Kia has a 2.2 liter diesel engine with 197hp and a nice 325 foot pounds of tq. it's supposedly good for about 50 miles per gallon. should kia make this an option? who'd be interested? i'd love a torque suv good for long trips between refills.

I don’t think it would attract a lot of buyers when comparing to the competition. A hybrid electric version would make more sense in my opinion. This would start catering to the hybrid market which Toyota is dominating.

I lean to hybrid or electric myself. I've never really been a fan of diesel. How well to diesel vehicles sell in America? Does Volkswagen sell many?
