Yes, agreed. And comparing a RAV4’s acceleration speed to a Telly is akin to comparing apples to oranges. That said, I did notice the low-end torque to be less than my 2007 Acura MDX when I test drove.

What's the one essential feature missing from the Telluride?

Well, after 75 total votes, it's clear what Kia has to do to keep its Telluride buyers happy: fix the Android Auto/CarPlay problem, and offer a new powertrain.
Do Kia and Hyundai want to be offering the only vehicles in this segment that don't have wireless AA and CP? The Toyota Highlander is adding wireless access for 2023, so that's one fellow traveler gone. Even Chevy has this feature.
If you add the votes for a hybrid engine option and a more robust ICE option, they surpass even the AA/CP fix in terms of customer interest.
No single comfort/convenience feature has much of a constituency, so adding more of these items probably shouldn't be a priority.

My biggest gripe is not having a wheel/knob on the center console to scroll through the infotainment.
My Genesis had a touchscreen but also had a wheel right where your hand would rest by the shifter. Made scrolling through Sirius still complicated, but at least you could handle it from the same seated position as your driving position.

Now that I've discovered the Android AI box, I'm afraid getting wireless AA/Carplay might mess that up. I think you should still be able to use it with a wire but I'd rather not mess up a good thing
One thing that irks the hell out of me is the memory seat buttons are not lighted. I jump after my wife drives the car and I fumble around for 10 seconds just looking for the button. I know the seat is supposed to retract to it's rear most position but that doesn't work either about 75% of the time.

They’re backlit just like all of the other buttons? While that would require your lights to be on, I would think muscle memory would help you if you use them frequently.
My lights are set to come on when I turn on the ignition. TOO LATE! I want to be in a driving position when I start the car.
I am too old to have any muscle memory left. Just light the damn buttons when the door is opened just like the overhead lights. Problem solved.

Are your interior lights set to turn on when the doors are open? The button on the overhead controls. Should usually be bright enough to see all the buttons when the cabin is lit up.

Look, you're peeing up a rope here. I expressed my opinion. I am a big guy, When I get in the car, I want to be able to slide into the seat and basically drive away. Instead, I have to fumble around for the button on the door or cram into the seat and figure it out from there. I think it's something Kia missed. If you fan boys think don't like my criticism then .......
If you just want to complain, you could have just said so lol don't get mad at everyone giving you very simple solutions to a very simple problem.
Of course I adapted. Do you think I just quit driving the car because I can't see to adjust the seat. I do want to complain, that's what this thread is about.
