• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Which store are you all using to buy OEM parts not at a Kia dealer directly?

Also what can a person with no auto experience do on their own;
mudguards?
hood deflector?

TIA!

Google search the part numbers? There are many online stores that are actually dealerships. I have ordered from gossettparts (Tennessee) and kia.parts (Arizona). Just be aware that shipping costs can vary widely among the online stores ... even though the websites look similar.

Lots of the accessories can be installed by you - some like the mudguards involve a tight space and you might want to remove the rear wheels. But, it's not necessary.

You can also negotiate with your Kia dealer ... avoid the shipping charges, but ask for a discount on the parts. I will do that for side steps if I decide to add them.

Hood deflector is easy - there are posts on nearly every accessory available to read.

You can get part numbers from Kia's accessory website (official). kiaaccessoryguide.com

I did my mudguards in about 20 minutes without removing the wheels. It's easily doable with the right tools.

Youtube is a great source for tutorials even for those of us with lots of experience.
Amazon and Ebay are additional sources for OEM parts. I got Mopar brand TPMS sensors off ebay for my Pacifica steelies/snow tires at 1/3 the price of my dealer.
