  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Placed my order on May 9, for a '22 SX-P/N/T (wolf gray) and was quoted approx 4 months for delivery. Just checked with another KIA dealership, much closer to home, and they are still taking orders for '22s but they quoted 8-14 months! Based on actual delivery-time experiences I have been reading here on the forum, I think the 8-14 is MUCH more realistic.
Thoughts?

Fully agree. I think trucking delays are also a big problem. I was quoted 5-7 months back in January. Haven’t been picked up yet and it’s almost June. Likely looking at August or September.

BUT it does vary depending on dealer allocation vs. how many orders they have on the books.

Not too concerned over trucking delays as I live in Virginia and the KIA plant is not that far away.

More realistic and if it does take that long you are definitely not getting a MY2022.

In addition, no more Nightfall edition in ‘23.

Well yes, but supposedly being replaced by the X-Line trim. Of course we haven't seen any additional information about any trims other than the X-Pro.

I ordered in Nov 21 and found out recently that there are still 70-80 orders in front of me.

I wouldn't underestimate the trucking delays. I live in Richmond Virginia and I've been delayed twice already. It can happen.

How did you determine it was trucking delays? Just curious as I will be scouring for information as time goes on. BTW, I am also in the Richmond area (Central Garage - halfway between Mechanicsville and Tappahannock).

I think my vehicle is something different because a few Tellurides that posted on Failcat after mine skipped me and was delivered last Sunday. The issue is still not enough trucks to guarantee on time deliveries whenever your vehicle is available. Just about any salesman can confirm that. Our delays shouldn't be nearly as bad as someone halfway across the country, but if everything goes perfect a week or two is plausible.
