• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Update. Car is totaled. There's actually some structural damage to the roof panel that I didn't notice the day it happened. I'm probably going to lose between $5k and $10k. I get reimbursed for actual value including depreciation. I lose taxes I paid and NY does not recognize diminished value.

Wife wants another Telluride even though it's my daily vehicle. Hoping I can find a cancelled order or something sitting on a lot because of the COVID scare. She's trying to bribe me by telling me I can buy a Jeep or pickup truck (Something used that I cant lose too much on) while we wait for it. Not sure I'm keen on that.

@StephenCantrelle just posted a white one. have it shipped. I think you might have an SXP and I think his was just an SX AWD.

Seems like quite a bit to loose on a New vehicle. I have an EX black /black with bench coming not spoken for. Best I can do for now. Good Luck!
Thanks Jason. I hope you're right but I like to prepare for the worst.

Since I finally got my car I haven't really had my finger on the pulse of the market. What's the current status on new Telluride orders. Longer wait? Shorter? Uncertain? I'm going to look up the car in want on the spreadsheet and see if any were delivered recently in my area.

Hard to say when plant is barely up and rolling. We are waiting like everyone else. Wish I had better news.

Maybe if you contact Kia corporate and tell them your story, they might be able to make some kind of exception expediting an allocation for you?

No offense - but if someone wants to offer up their allocation that is fine - but there are hundreds of people waiting for an allocation that might not like it being taken from them. Many of us are in a situation where we need a new car and the prolonged wait could potentially cause us to miss getting the Telluride we have been waiting for - some as long as 8-9 months still. Manufacturing capacity is finite - you take an allocation and give it to someone that isn't even in line - you are taking it from someone else without their consent.
