• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... For those who have tinted their windows , have you just done the front twos and left the others stock? Or have you redone all window tinting?

Typically, when you tint a vehicle’s windows, it’s just the front two that get done. People will ask to have them match the rear windows or go a shade lighter. Not always the case, but typically.

I had all windows tinted including the windshield.. I went pretty dark. It all depends on preference.

I had the front door windows done. Originally matched the back windows, but too dark ant night (for me), so went for a shade lighter (this is also the legal tint for driver windows in WI). Definitely keeps the vehicle cooler.

FWIW, what comes from the factory is privacy glass and offers very little UV/heat protection. I would recommend tinting over the privacy glass if you’re wanting more protection for the interior and heat reduction, even if it’s just a light percentage.

Personally, I tinted the back at 5%, as well as the sun strip, and did 35% on the front two. I would be sure to check your local laws before doing any tinting on the front three (if you’re worried about that) as a lot of states don’t allow it.

What percent did u do the front and rear?

what percent is the front and back?
It’s 5%. I told my shop to do 5 on the front and match the back. I don’t know the exact percent they did to make it match but it comes out to 5%. 35% on the windshield
