Has anyone ever received anything from "lightinthebox"? Doesn't sound like it's be easy to return to this site... but good luck.

I received a shipping notification (with tracking number) early this morning from Lightinthebox. I placed my order on Oct 24.

I hope this thing works. I see mixed reviews, but I'm not sure if it's any better/worse than the alternatives. I've moved from Android Auto with AAWireless (which works well) to iOS/Carplay. I really love having widescreen Carplay! Kind of a game-changer compared to Android Auto.

Mine arrived yesterday. Set it up and it did disconnect once during my 15 min drive. It reconnected on its own but that would definitely be annoying.

you're not the only one...i was hoping it would work but it's not consistent like a wired connection is...until it becomes so i will be staying away...

the bluetooth connection in my subaru started to cut out on me here and there so i have to plug my phone in and shut off the bluetooth...it drives me nuts cause i can't answer the phone while driving...one of my major complaints of my subaru

Carlinkit 3.0 Disconnecting or Rebooting Issue

My wife was having an issue with her carlinkit 3.0 either disconnecting or rebooting while connected...the audio cuts out and after a little while the screen to connect to your phone like when it first connects when you start the car pops up...i just updated the software and she is still having...

Wasn’t the case for me. $96 Canadian was charged like it said in the check out.

My drive him the device did not disconnect.

Good to know! Although I did look at reviews for that company before I bought anything and they had many reviews and they were above average.

I used paypal to pay, haven’t seen any fraud activity on my end. I was charged $61.66 with a separate $1.84 foreign transaction fee charge. Although the order confirmation email shows an incorrect total order price $127.99.

Ordered 10/24, got an order shipped email on 10/27. Tracking shows it arrived in the US on 10/31 and is waiting for customs clearance as of 11/1.

FWIW, that is exactly the same situation with my order. Confirmation email showed 127.99, but was charged the lower price. Shipped on the 27th and apparently sitting in customs now. Though if the thing is glitchy as described above then I may not use it much. Hopefully it will improve with software updates.

Ordered the same one from Amazon, so far so good. There's a bit of a delay when connecting but I have a long ride coming up this weekend where I can really test drop outs. It was already updated to the latest firmware and worked out of the box very simply. Note that it creates a separate CarPlay profile on iOS so any existing customizations on the wired profile will be reset to default, but it seems like once you set up the second profile you're good to go. This also means you can have two separate CarPlay profiles depending on how you're connected, if that's useful to someone.

Likewise, mine arrive today as well. It has one USB-C port on one end and one USB-A port on the other.

Mine arrived yesterday, but I've only had time to play around with it in the driveway. It paired easily and seemed fairly responsive just clicking around the UI, but that's my only experience so far. I have a longer drive tomorrow evening to experiment with it (navigation, music, maybe a call). I did check for new firmware updates and it says it's already up to date.

It’s a pretty neat device when it works. I am having trouble switching between Google, Apple or Waze maps and then Sirius XM on the car radio. A couple of times I have been able to have an Apple or Google map up and still be able to toggle with my thumb through my preset radio stations. A couple of times this has worked but most of the time it does not. Still trying to figure out how to look at a map while listening to my preset stations.Sometimes it seems to hang up while it’s trying to make its Bluetooth connection with my phone.

I had issues at the beginning, but what I ended up doing is deleting the Bluetooth connection to the car itself by just going into phone bluetooth settings and forget device of the car Bluetooth name. I have not had it reboot on me since then. If you are having issues give that a shot and let me know if it helps.
