• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have an 2021 LX and bought a seat from a 2020 EX that is their base leather, power/heated/ventilated. All of the connectors plug right in , but I had to hot wire the power wires to get the power seat to move (seat front/back, up/down, backrest). I am hoping to figure out which wires trigger the heat and ventilation, seat belt sensors. (If I don't get it all to work, I have to decide if I am going to move the heat and leather to my manual seat. Previously I was planning to buy an aftermarket heater to put under the cover of my manual seat.

The wires for the fan for ventilation is easy to spot. I haven't been able to isolate the heat wires yet (I assume the back is heated as well as the base). My biggest concern is the airbags. THe light stays on that says the seat is unoccupied, even when I set a weight on it. If I can't get that figured out, I won't use the seat.

Anyone have any direct knowledge instead of 'by guess and by golly'?

Even if you have only replaced the switch for a seat heater, can I hear how the process went? I want to give this wiring a try. TIA!
