• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Looking to hide the Lighting cable for my wife's iPhone and would like to either pull the woodgrain center dash panel, the button cluster, or the LCD screen (whichever has to come off first). I've struck out with Googling and YouTube, I'm thinking that the panel is held in with just panel clips that should allow it to just pull straight out. But I'd love to hear from someone else who has already done it (nobody likes being the guinea pig ;-)

Where are you planning to route it to? Might be easier to route from underneath, pulling under the plastic trim of the center console and through the glove box.

There is also the USB charging port on the side of the seats if all you are trying to do is avoid cables hanging from the front.

I planned on pulling from the non-CarPlay port under the console(at the front). I still need a place to pull the phone end of the cable out from behind the dash to connect to the phone... The phone is sitting between the instrument cluster and center LCD panel...

just plug it into the seat back usb on the drive or passenger, tuck it in between the plastic and the leather of the seat and pop it up near the seatbelt?
