• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So what is your source for downloading So much music?
Several sources: I purchase a good deal from the Apple Store, but when I want High Def I buy from here: www.hdtracks.com (I have a FiiO portable HD player for that stuff).

I have also ripped a lifetime of Vinyl and CDs to digital as well. (I bought a turntable that plugs into my iMac and allowed me to rip all my Vinyl - a slow process obviously) Often I will find cheap CDs in the bins at WalMart and local thrift stores and get stuff there to rip as well.

Happy Thursday to all Kia Telluride owners and (hopefully) soon-to-be Telly owners !! :)

Where's all the playlists?

Alternately, name your favorite sat radio channels?

Please don't make me have to re-energize this thread by listing my other playlists:

"Christmas 2020"
"90s Rock +"
"80s Rock"
"Motown+"
"CCR"
"Stapleton+"
"Rap I Like"
"Poolside Chill"
"Mandalay State Beach" :)

added the album "Honky Tonk Hell" by Gabe Lee. Fun album and the song of the same name is amazing!

Thousands and thousands of songs. I play music ALL the time. Jere’s a snapshot from a 5 star playlist. I can’t put a label on my “favorite” music, but anything with wicked lead guitars and vocals you can actually hear the lyrics win the most plays! 🤓
Oh, and my oldest son’s music is truly dear to me. 💙 Music – Paul Farris

I have many playlists to play my nearly 9000 music library. Some of the Playlists are made with Apple Genius and contain songs similar to a particular song, or other playlists might be based on a particular artist or group in decade. Each play list has about 25 songs.

It’s my wife’s Telly, so I don’t drive it much, but when I do, it’s Tool, Tool and more Tool with Bass Booster on and volume at about 35-40!

Well I really don't care much for modern country, but this one just seems appropriate:
Cool! We have a Theme song! I have a lot of Tim M in my library but not that one (I'll fix that).
Here's one of my favorites of his:

80’s on 8. It’s not what you requested but that’s how I roll.
@qwikhit: I've started listening to more of the sat radio channels and the music-by-decades ones are amazing, including 80s on 8 !!

Just wondering why there's no 20s on 2, 30s on 3, 40s on 4 for the SiriusXM sat radio. What if we want to listen to old 78rpm records, the golden age of jazz, music from the 30s/40s WW2 era? I hear that Sirius has a "swing music" (maybe 30s/40s) on some higher number channel #?

Yeah XM has those channels. The channels are listed online so you don’t have to one by one search them through the vehicle

So my 3 month free trial of SiriusXM just lapsed.

I really should have checked it out more in the first month (December) but I was so pumped about the playlists I set up for the Telly. January and February I started exploring the sat radio channels more and a week before the trial ended, I really got into a few channels:

The decades channels I knew about: 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s... good stuff. A good temporary time travel/escape from 2021 ;)

The classic rock stations (Classic Vinyl?) were pretty good too.

Rock the Bells had some good old-school rap songs.

Outlaw Country had some great selections too.

I want to highlight the Real Jazz station. Holy cow, they had a Miles Davis marathon with some quality recordings that sounded so good on the Harman/Kardon system. Turned up, it felt like you were in a live jazz club.

I didn't even realize I could skip to start the song over from the beginning. Great feature.

Oh well, I really got into a few channels then it was all over a few days ago and I have to go back to making awesome Telluride playlists.

Anyone want to share their Playlists or what they play in their Tellurides (SiriusXM)?

Those are solid channels.

Too bad I started really getting into those great channels just days before the trial ended.

I just received correspondence from them (Sirius) yesterday, I think, having a promotion of $5.00 a month for the next year. My free 3 month trial is not up until April, so I have a couple of weeks to think about it. Did you get the same promotion from them? It does go up after a year to $17-18 per month.

Hi @gimpy,

It's possible I received something but I have my spam/phishing filters set to aggressive so that I rarely see any promotional e-mails.

It would be nice to have a low monthly rate to extend SiriusXM beyond the trial, even for another 6 months :)

Anyway, anyone have any great songs or playlists or sat radio channels to recommend?

Are y'all listening to podcasts or Sounds of Nature while driving or what? :ROFLMAO:

mine is not here yet (april 2 though!! ahhhhh) but SAT wise it will be the 90s, maybe a little shade 45, definitely “the highway” and non sat it will be morgan wallen “dangerous” album... who knows what else! lots of country though lol

Call me old, but I love 70s, 80s and 90s, Classic Rock and Country. But my drive up song is this:

I had SXM on my other car. It is a great deal for $5/month. After the year, you can just call them and they'll re-up for the same rate instead of the $18/month. Well worth it! I listen to the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and the Message 63.
