Newcomer in Canada, Future owner of a Telluride

Hey guys, just arrived in Canada a month ago and we are planning to get one in white. Supposed to get a Subaru Outback but my wife and I decided to get a Telluride instead.

Whereabouts are you located? I'm in the GTA. Depending on where you are, someone might be able to recommend a dealer, unless you already have one.

GTA as well. That would be a great help! We haven't have the chance to look around yet and I'm just about to get a G1 test, so it will still be awhile before I get to drive it.

Right, okay. So depending on how far you're willing to travel, people can make recos. I purchased my Telly at Georgetown Kia at $1250 under MSRP. But they PILE ON the dealer add-ons, so my "under MSRP" basically deleted their crazy dealer adds.

Yeah depending on total cost and distance. Thanks for your price info, I needed that, Getting an SX AWD as well, because we are after then bench seats for future use.

Watch out for their fees! They're hard headed about it.

I bought it off the lot. The car I wanted was just sitting there. Did they give you an ETA?

No ETA from kia yet but their estimate is 2-3 month.

We bought at MSRP + all their fees/add-ons. The only thing we were able to get is a free hitch

We wanted the captain for best possible 2nd row comfort as we always have someone sitting there by the car seat.

Upgrading from a 2010 Subaru Outback, it was a great car but it's really lacking the rear passenger comfort.

We wanted the captain for best possible 2nd row comfort as we always have someone sitting there by the car seat.

Upgrading from a 2010 Subaru Outback, it was a great car but it's really lacking the rear passenger comfort.

I also ordered the SX Limited Nightsky in Gravity Grey w/ Black Interior. And for the same reasons. Our current vehicle has become too crammed with baby, coupled with our lifestyle.

Our order was placed on December 18th and, if I'm reading this forum right, the Kia ordering system open' up once a month (the 15th of each month) so I guess I wouldn't have initial eligibility until January 15th. In addition, dealership allotment plays a role based on what I've read here too.

That said, I've seen others on this forum get their vehicle in Canada around 8 weeks after order; however, those orders we placed right before the 15th.

I am patiently waiting here in Vancouver.

That's a sweet ride. Gravity Grey was my second colour choice. I wanted a bench seat, so I got the straight SX.
