You can still set a destination when out of park, but you need to utilise the voice command function instead of the keypad. Tap in the area next to the mic icon and then follow the voice prompts.

It is true. The HUD really dims out when I am wearing mine.

I have heard that too from the dealer. I haven't experienced it yet as I usually wear transitional lenses. I have a pair of polarized sunglasses. I should give it a try.

I’m surprised no one has come out with a shift lever override that will allow destination to be set whenever

Or some type of audible over-ride to speak a new destination.

I ordered Nov 12.2020 and then VIN issued Dec.8. 2020 then got a call on Dec.10.2020.
So, last Saturday I picked it up.

Personally, I like the look of the black SX rims over the black NF rims. Honestly, for that reason I passed on NF. My specs were exactly what you just listed (GG/dune, awd SXP)

This is what I'm thinking of GG/Dune, AWD, SXP. The only thing I want out of the Nighfall is the window surround trim. I'm not keen on the chrome, and can't tell from most picks if there's a noticeable difference between the standard chrome and the satin finish?

There is a noticeable difference in my opinion.. The standard chrome is light silver.. the one on the NF is more like a gunmetal color

The Telly "builder" shows a machine satin finish chrome on the SX vs the standard or NF. Hope to see those two side by side... Not liking the standard bright chrome against dark paint.

Personally, I like the contrast of the satin finish chrome against a darker car, such as the gravity gray. Kind of classy. But, as they say, to each his own. The NF looks great too! I saw it at my dealer's.

Chrome on the darker tellurides is the way to go for sure in my opinion.

The satin finished chrome on the SXP is really quite nice. It's not as bright as the shiny chrome. I have the GG/Dune SXP non-nightfall and I really like it. You can always get the window surround trim dipped for that look. I just wasn't bad enough I guess. . Just had a ceramic coating put on. Looks beautiful. Hope it was worth the investment.

You have to post photos of your ceramic finish. I had mine done and I am so happy with the results so far.
