Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... No. Remote start is not part of the Lite package.
If you’re confused by “remote charge,” that is for controlling charging for an electric vehicle (which the Telluride is not).

What you’re looking for is “remote climate,” to get remote start. That’s a part of the Plus package.

I figured as much. I imagine if the mentioned clearly that you can't remotely start your car any longer, that would be too direct. It did go down from 225 to 140 for the plus plan.

As Bruesjoe mentioned, remote climate and remote start are one and the same. Kia uses the terms interchangeably in their communication and documents.

That’s a great idea. It already doesn’t take much to confuse people, and this thread title is downright incorrect misleading.
…and three minutes later, someone asks about it… (apparently not actually reading or comprehending anything)
They can call all they want, they’re very unlikely to get five years of free remote services.
