If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The KIA Telluride in Dark Moss

I am torn between the SXP moss with OR without nightfall. I’m trashed from burning up Yourube. Any thoughts and or pics?? Thanks!

-26 today, finally got out to the car wash
Hey I know you posted this a year ago, I think, so I’m not sure you will get this. But I am obsessing over the moss with or without nightfall. Originally I wanted nightfall but the more I see of the chrome the more I like how it pops on the moss. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

It’s all comes down to what your preference is. I love both.

@Tellycurious: Dark Moss SX P/T without Nightfall Edition looks way better in my opinion. It's the car Tom Kearns and Kia spent years refining and getting just right for the initial launch. Most of the reviews, even on YouTube, of the 2020 Telluride were of the Telly in Dark Moss with the aluminum and black trim pieces. Nightfall looks great if you're doing Gravity Gray or Ebony Black for a complete blackout look, which is trendy now, but for the long-run:

Such beautiful pictures. Thanks for taking the time. I’m definitely on board with that exact look. Stay warm!

Thank you @Tellycurious!

Dark Moss w/ Prestige is truly the classic Telluride look that impressed the car magazines, vehicle design critics, YouTube reviewers, and regular people like all of us who just wanted a Telly of our own and ended up driving the incredible demand for the vehicle.

Luckily, Camarillo has mild winters, but when it gets chilly in the early morning or when I visit the Donner/Sierra Nevada/SoCal mountains, check out the "Warm hands, cool backs" thread for my thoughts on the amazing heated steering wheel and the seat cooling both on at the same time :)

Ok duh I didn’t even look it was California. Enjoy the weather rather. Got to -29 here in the middle of country a couple nights ago. 9 years until I retire and move 👏

Stay warm! You'll love the Telly's heated steering wheel. It's a feature that's so amazing, I'll never get another car without one. I normally wear my Mechanix "tactical" gloves for driving because we all know how it's downright miserable to lay cold hands on an even colder steering wheel, especially in freezing cold and windy weather conditions.

I hear Florida is nice and perfectly warm this time of year. I'm eventually moving to western SD not far from the gorgeous Black Hills and the border with WY, but will also have to secure a place near the awesome gators of FL for when February arrives in SD :)

Agree about Florida. I have researched possible retirement destinations near the beach in Florida and across the southern east coast. I live and work in western Nebraska close to those places you speak of near SD and WY. The Black Hills are indeed special. I’m waiting for it to warm up a bit before I venture to the Kia dealer 2 hours away. He said I could order it at MSRP so that’s a bonus considering the horrendous mark up tales I’ve been reading about. I’m going to try to surprise my wife with this purchase. She will be shocked/maybe pissed for just a minute lol.

That is one of the features that I can't wait for, the heated steering wheel. My car is in the garage but I still have to wear gloves to drive (here in Chicago). I drove my in-laws Lexus and it was great to have this feature. Can't wait to get it on my Telly!

It’s definitely a great feature.

@BasilFawlty, I love that photo. It must be nice to live in a place where the sky looks that that, and backlights your Telly to make the Dark Moss look even darker and richer! Mine needs diffuse low light in the fog and snow to really show off the dark green and black flake. (y)

The Nightfall grill that you have on your Telly is a nod to the original Telluride Concept Car's grill. Of course, that car had suicide doors like those classic Continentals, and it had a yellower metallic pyrite paint job which wasn't quite as awesomely dark as our beloved Dark Moss production color, but under the showroom lights the pyrite shined well.

I prefer the production DM color because of how real world lighting conditions make the black, brown, dark green, metallic bronze flake in the Dark Moss truly the Boss and look so amazing during the light of the magic hours of dusk and dawn.

Just a reminder, it's okay to get the Telluride dirty! Plus, it hides the bush pinstriping.

Thanks, that picture was taken at sunrise somewhere between Plano and Amarillo, Texas. I drove (rental car) 10 hours from home in New Mexico and picked up the car at a dealer in Plano; this was on a Friday in October. Started home Friday evening and got tired around 11PM so pulled into a rest area and spent the night in a sleeping bag in the back of the car.

Next morning, as I was driving north, I saw that the sunrise was especially beautiful, so I pull off the highway and on to some gravel ranch road, jumped out of the car with my Canon 5D4 and snapped that picture from down in a ditch.
