Aftermarket Wheels for the Telluride

I know nothing about tires and rims other than I want to change the stock rims on my S to black ones. Suggestions?

take your time ... discount tires is a good helpful resource. low prices online but you will prolly end up with wrong size or offset. Keep in mind your tires may end costing you lots more till the end of time.

Im still debating this too. There are a ton of posts about this on the Facebook Telluride group which is worth joining...I have been researching it and debating whether to powder coat my EX rims or buy new ones. If I buy new ones (which is practically the same price as powder coating - $700ish) then I would hope I can sell my stock EX rims to make the money back. Not much help I know, but sharing your dilemma

I can’t image many people having luck selling the stock wheels. I think most people are thinking the same thing that Kia dropped the ball on the wheels other than the black ones in the SX. the stock wheels are worthless. I’m keeping mine for winter wheels and tires but getting these in 20”.

114.3 5 lug is one of the most common sizes. So people will buy the for winter or some people w like them especially if you have 20s... you can buy all the wheels and tires you want for the huge price blast of the sX

Well thats what I worried about @Skippy1180 but even Powder Coating is 700 and I can get new wheels for 800 or less, so its a wash...like your choice...I will probably go with Veloc ones as its costco and then I know I have recourse if needed and $15 per tire install and no need for new TPMS sensors as they will use the current ones. Kia def dropped the ball, but I am sure that was the ploy to get everyone to upgrade even though the S choice makes no sense.

completely up 2 you. As mentioned ...for 600 to 700 bucks you can powder coat the ones you have. If you spend the money either way just enjoy it but dont expect to get that money back

i have same boss moss color w front window tint to match the rest. those Niche 22 s. Those look great are you flush or wider than the well

Thank you! Front window tint to match is coming in the next couple of weeks. They are slightly wider than the well. It's the perfect look without being over the top.

I made Discount Tire price match the HE894's 20's @$168. Trying to install tomorrow. Pics to follow.

@CJsRide your wheels look amazing as I also have the Moss Green. Mine is an EX so 18 inch tires. What model did you have, did you have to go up from the 18's and if so, any issues? What are you doing with your old tires if the case? just hoping to sell them? Sorry for all the questions, just curious. Thanks.

Thank you! I have the S so it came with 20's. Same tires just new rims. Probably keep the old rims in case I ever want them for snow tires. Probably not much value in the stock rims anyway. I think the S moss green should come with the black rims since that is how it is shown in all the media. I knew it was the first thing I would do. Next up is tint on the front to match the back.

LOVE those Helo wheels, just wish they came in gloss black. Looks like something that could've come from the factory, which is just what I'm looking for. Would be even better if the stock center caps fit.

too close to stock sx for my tastes. Custom means custom.
Went to order my tires and Giovanna wheels today 22x9 and 285/ 30/ 22 wheels not available rt now no date avail
