The KIA Telluride in Gravity Grey

I like them too. I'm not sure how it would look on the Gravity Gray. Too much?
I keep going back and forth on whether I should get the black running boards once I get my Telly. I passed on adding them with my order. Not sure if I'm even going to save money if I do add them at a later date

Not at all. It would dress it up.

🤪 have u guys visited here?
Oh, yes. We've been going to Oahu every few years, staying at Ko Olina, and driving through Mililani to get to the Northshore. We've had plenty of that red dirt on our rentals! We've been to the Big Island a couple of times, but we gravitate toward Oahu for all the options fir activities and great food.

Certainly can seen how the comfort of the Telly would be advantageous during Honolulu rush hour.

I got mine on Friday. I was originally thinking about getting Sangria, but I really didn't want to order and have to wait months so I went with what was already coming to the lot. I'm glad I did! I really love the color.

Oh that’s awesome! U must go to Maui! It’s like the 2nd most populated island but not as crowded as Oahu. If u can afford it, stay in Wailea. My niece use to work at the Grand Wailea and I’d only pay family rate $100/night. It’s where a lot of celebrities stay.

but yes the rush hour on Oahu is horrendous. I’ve been working from home since last April tho so I have no idea how bad or good it is since the pandemic. We’re kinda still on lockdown but if you get the COVID vaccine sounds like you may not have to quarantine. Heard cost to travel here is way cheaper now since tourists haven’t been flocking here like before. 🤙🏼

Ok guys looks like I can’t change to ES. Dealer said once order is submitted it’s too late. Oh well, GG was my gut choice so I’ll stick with it instead of going to the back of the line lol

Does it have a little bit of blue tone to it at times?
Yes and I will say I personally feel I see the flake in It more then any other color

It is highly subjective. I do see blue shades in there but my wife doesn't. It also depends on lighting and reflection of colors from surroundings... Here are some pics on a sunny day.

I hadn’t noticed it in person but in pictures I can see it. Reminds me of a grey blue 4Runner I used to have. I loved the color. I wish Kia had a blue for the Tellys! I have having such a tough time deciding on car color. Had white/butterscotch on order, then changed to white/black, then black/black. Everyone is freaking me out about how hard it is to have a black car.....so second- guessing myself, when my car is due to arrive next week.

Dealer has a white one coming in available, but wants to charge $3k premium to swap cars (seems cruel to me). So, I am now holding a white/blk with another dealer due in mid-May!

if I could get a moss/butterscotch or moss/black I would but it in a flash.
Next choice is white/ butterscotch or black

I feel like so many people have white cars in Dallas, I was hoping for something different.
So now, leaning toward silver or GG.

Hard part is no one has them in stock. So you can’t compare colors!!

Help!
1) is it really so bad to have black car in hot Texas?
2) is it really so hard to keep black car clean?

If some of y’all can give me peace it may help!

Totally hear you about the difficulty choosing without being able to see the cars in person side by side.

I think it depends on how much effort you can put in to keeping your car clean. The gravity grey shows dirt easily and we get a lot of snow/slush in the winter and a lot of rain in the summer in Toronto... I love driving a clean car, so I have a monthly/unlimited membership at our local car wash and get the car cleaned at least once a week. It is part of my weekly routine and keeps the car looking great. I think a black car would need similar upkeep to stay looking sharp

I totally agree with you. Stinks not being able to see them in person. I think I have watched every video made w/ SX NF exterior /interior color combos. I originally ordered glacier white w grey yesterday then changed it today to GG w/ Dune. And I’m still undecided. Worse than naming my kids. Ugh!! Lol

I went gravity grey/dune without ever seeing it either!!! Still haven’t seen one but I guarantee it’s going to be one of the nicest combos.

I actually think the black is nice. I went with the Gravity Gray, and I do like it, but I think the black looks pretty sharp. Even the black nightfall looks pretty good to me. I didn't think it was me, but now I really like it. I'd get the SXP if you can with the nightfall and follow it up with a ceramic coat.

I don’t have or ever did have a black vehicle. But, I think all cars will show dirt, dust, etc. But, I think a dark or black vehicle will show swirl marks easier than a white car. At least that is what I’ve read.

Getting my Telluride Gravity Gray SX next week with black interior.

I originally wanted a Dark Moss but the more I looked at it the more unsure about the color going years forward. I like the white but I find it impractical. I found ebony black too dull. Never saw a copper black. Hate the everlasting silver. Wasn't enthused by the Sangria (when viewed from a distance). Gravity Gray sold me on the off black. Just enough spec to not be boring and likely will show dirt and dust less than ebony.

Going to get it ceramic treated.

You will love the dune!!! I was in the same boat as you on color choice. I was driving my wife crazy! Finally just took one that came off the truck in GWP SX prestige with dune. Love it!

The other part that I think is interesting is whether to do nightfall with GG...I thought it was too much in black, but decent in GG. BUT Reason I didn’t go with it is the SX black rims are different from NF. So if you get SX with NF package you get the NF rims. I’m not a fan of the NF rims look compared to SX black rims. So all together GG looked good without NF, with SX black rims, and the contrast of Dune interior.
