• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... As a perspective purchaser, I view the comfort setting on the rotary dial as one that might effect ride. I'm getting the impression from questions I've asked at the dealer that it only effects shift points of the transmission, as does the sport setting. Do those two settings (Sport & Comfort) effect only shift points as they do on our Mini Cooper or do they also effect the ride softness or stiffness?

The Telluride does not have adjustable suspension, so the drive mode setting has no effect on ride.

It primarily affects throttle response, shift points, AWD behavior, and (maybe?) steering weight.

Thanks. Just what I needed to know. We are currently researching and shopping online. I do admit to quick stops into local dealers for curious fast looks at the GV80, Caligraphy and a Nightfall Edition with something Dune leather.

I think the GV80 is a great vehicle, but we want a third row that's usable by human beings with legs and heads. If I was OK with a 2-row, I'd totally buy the GV80 over just about anything else in that segment (MDX, Aviator, X5).
