• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi! We just ordered a 2021 ebony black, nightfall sx prestige with black interior and tow package. What’s the quickest anyone has received after ordering? Is it picking up?

Seems to be a roll of the dice. Your dealer allocation plays a part of the process and the trim and options play a part as well. What did your dealer tell you?

They said they tell everyone 3-6 months, but have seen them come in under 2 months...

3-6 months seems reasonable

That’s what we were told also but ended up getting the car less than two months ( 53 days) after ordered.

Congratulations, so you're actually on a wait list to order.

The bad news is that the wait can be long especially at popular dealerships selling at fair prices without the crazy markups.

The good news is that a deposit gets you a place in line that does move up, and you'll eventually get to the top of the list after weeks and months or however long it takes.

Once your actual order gets picked up by the Kia Forward Ordering System (KFOS), then your order becomes real and things move fast, KIA posts your window sticker online for you to see what's actually got into your Telly build, then you can check ETAs for delivery times, etc.

Did your dealership inform you how many customers were on the list ahead of you?

I had to wait almost 3 months in line before I got the "you're at the top of the list. Next dealer allocation we receive, we're putting in your specs, accessory requests". Then things moved fast. Window sticker posted by Kia (Thanks Kia) and I kept bugging Stephen about the ETA and left a tip before Thanksgiving, then my ETA moved up real quick.

Deposit to get on the wait list 8/14/20
Waited waited waited
Kia posted sticker, VIN number created 11/13/20
ETA end of December 12/29
ETA moved up 12/27
ETA moved up again
Car arrived at dealership late afternoon 12/1/20 (Dealership called us)
Picked-up Telly 12/2/20

3.5 months for the elusive AWD Dark Moss Dune Brown SX P/T

I was offered a Dark Moss in NFE sooner (a month after deposit, a customer changed their mind after seeing the car) but screw that.

Chrome/brushed aluminum accents look amazing and break up the Dark Moss, the way Tom Kearns designed the car to show off the body lines and add length and width to the Telly :)
