• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... any idea of how to clean the limited headliner? i believe it would be the prestige in the US - it’s the soft/suede one.

@ashuride:

No idea, don't get it dirty in the first place? 😋

I made a great decision and have the puppy-soft dark gray headliner, so I'm less worried about it than if I got the white cloth microfiber headliner.

Maybe damp cloth for most things?

A de-greasing spray product that doesn't discolor the fabric?

I avoided this whole question by going Dune Brown/Dark Gray headliner/A-Pillars :)

i wish the headliner was dark. there’s a random little spot my husband noticed today, and now of course, i see it every time i get in. i’ll try just a damp cloth

Good idea.

I'd start with damp cloth, maybe add a small dab of clear grease-busting detergent in case it's grease/oil related, pat down with a white paper towel to see if a sheet or two pulls anything dark out of the cloth?

i use carbona OXY powered carpet cleaner with the scrub brushon the bottle i gently soak and scrub then use a wet rag to GENTLY rub in in then another wet rag to GENTLY WIPE i highly suggest being very gentle and not over saturating the area so that you dont damage the glue holding it together , i have done this process 3x already for various reasons ( soda explosion, and rain damage)
