If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Floormats for Telluride - good options?

My one concern about Tuxmats is that it seems to be a pain in the ass to clean. You can't easily and quickly pop them out to shake them off and rinse and pop back in.

Tuxmats and it isn't even close
Unless you get them filthy dirty with a lot of mud... they vacuum and wipe down fairly easy.

I see you don't have your Telluride yet. Have you used the Tuxmats on a different vehicle? Anyone know how are they with salt. They put down a lot of salt in the winters up here, I feel that could be harder to clean on the Tuxmats.

OEM All-Weather Floor Mats #1

For the driver’s mat, it’s simply unbeatable in terms of material quality, monolithic (one piece) construction, comfort, grip, channel design, and fit and attachment. Want to extend your left leg and rest your heels? Comfortable. Want to Sport Mode with your right foot and tap your toes with your left knee bent and left foot on floor tapping away, no problem, perfect material for your feet and heels. Easy to clean and maintain too, no high lip on the sides like some liners.

I’m not opposed to a hybrid approach.

If I ever have kids or get the dog from someone less sketchy than the breeder who pocketed by deposit, I’ll keep the OEM All Weather Floor Mats up front and just get the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP for the second row and install a custom CNC-machined center console that i’ll either bolt to the floor or install a monolithic floor plate with a Pic rail and a quick detach mechanism to easily remove or re-attach the center console.

I don’t use the 3rd row, so for the back the OEM Carpeted Cargo
Mat with Seat-Back Protection is amazing so far, fully rubberized bottom layer, not too thick and easily attaches with velcro for zero slip and perfect edge-to-edge coverage.

I have a ToughPro (unique closed cell design) for dirty jobs and will get w/ CanvasBack if I ever get my puppy.

Yes. I bought a set for my wife's 2021 Santa Fe

And I'm not sure if they put salt down in Canada but coming from a Canadian company one would think they would do ok. But I really can't answer that question for you.

Did a quick youtube search and it looks like they clean up nicely.

For anyone else wondering:

I like the OEM All Weather Mats. The bottom hinged gas pedal is so stupid, you'll never be able to protect that area. The OEM mat in the driver's seat wasn't cutting it in the ND winter. I got a pair of weathertechs and just used the driver's one this winter. It was a little bit of an improvement.

The OEM mats fit so poorly though. Although, my weathertech didn't fit great either. I think it's a Kia manufacturing inconsistency issue with the vehicle rather than the floormats.

Build your own! Sooooooo much less expensive then all the other options being discussed. Rubber backed carpeting. They wash easily, can be cut for a perfect fit, and when unacceptably dirty, throw 'em away and buy new. Photos are of back seat area, but I did the same thing in the front.
Floor mats. Easy and cheap...

Agreed. Long time user of Weather tech, but would never go back to them. TuxMat is where it's at.
Couldn't agree more. Have used them for years also. Had 6 people in my Telluride over the weekend with one being an owner of a small truck dealership and he was like wow what are these mats they are so nice!

I'm starting to lean toward OEMs and Weathertechs, from Tuxmats.

My reasoning is I'd rather sacrifice some coverage for the ease and speed of removing them, which will incentivize me to clean them more often.

It seems like cleaning Tuxmats would be a whole ordeal, as opposed to to just quickly removing OEMs and shaking them off whenever necessary.

Can't say my Tuxmats are any more of a problem removing/cleaning than any other mats I've owned. but.... when I installed them I didn't install the little plastic clips they include that attach the mats to the plastic on the console, etc. they fit so well I didn't see any need in doing that. I didn't install the little pin/hook for the drivers side mat either. they all fit great and don't move around.

Same here. So it’s easy as just unhooking from the factory floor mat clip and pulling out to clean. Mine fit really nice too😀

Wanted to throw some love at the Smartliners. Have them and they fit and look great. Easy to remove and clean too.

I haven't reallly put my Tuxmats to the test but they do vacuum pretty easily, and I actually just wipe them using quick detailer, they look great.

I haven't taken then off yet and I'm actually cringing to think about it... I didn't find fixing them on their places the easiest thing, to be honest.

They do protect pretty well, though, and look terrific.

I was just looking at the Tuxmat site and it appears they updated the mats with this new Neo line. It uses the OEM hooks which was my biggest knock on them. Has anyone used these new ones on their ride?

I have the new Neo version and lots of others on here have them too. Yes the new neo ones use the oem hooks. They also still come with the clips that are used like the old style but I never used the clips just the oem hooks and I’ve had no issues with the mats moving or anything they stay put good. they are easy to remove to clean that way too. Love the looks the tuxmats give the interior.
