If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Floormats for Telluride - good options?

How is the Canadian cargo mat holding up? Any issues?

The cargo mat is holding up well. I’ve only had for about 3 months but I’ve had no issues with it. I’ve had some heavy furniture in a box in the trunk and the mat kept its shape and held up good. Other than that it’s mostly been groceries that are in the cargo area. No issues so far but I expect with the steeper price this mat should hold up well for a long time.

That’s hood to hear. My 60/40 mat should be arriving from Ontario any day now.

Total noob question, but I’m coming from a life of driving accords. What’s not good enough about the mats that come with it? Why do I need cargo cover?

The Telluride doesn’t come with floor mats or cargo cover. Many people prefer to buy all-weather mats to keep the carpets clean. Likewise, a nice cargo mat will protect the trunk and back of the third row seats when they are down.

So think I'm settled on ordering tuxmats for the '22 8 seater EX we have on order. I'm assuming the 2021 mats would match as I'm not expecting any changes to interior layout/dimensions. Any reason I might be wrong?? Thanks all - so glad I found this forum!

I want to get good floormats to protect the car, and there a lot of choices on Amazon: OEM, "TOUGH Pro", "Tux Mat", etc. Does anyone have a good experience with a particular company that they'd like to share in terms of fit, quality, etc? Thanks!
I ordered mine from Weathertech. They fit great & look very nice. I’m impressed !

I’m happy with Smartliner. They fit the Telluride nicely and seemed to provide the best bang for buck.

We have the carpeted OEM but decided to get the Smartliners for the front two rows. They fit well. So far I like them a lot better than the Weathertechs we had on our Escape.

Mine is being made at the factory right now. I told my dealership that I wanted the carpeted mats but have found out that they also sell the Kia heavy duty mats. Watching y’all I looked at the Smartliners and can get them from Amazon for about $254 for the whole set. my question is, should I still get the carpeted mats and the Smartliners, or get the carpeted mat with the Kia heavy duty mats? And since I’m getting the SX PRESTIGE with Nightfall in Glacial White Pearl and Dune Brown interior, should I get the black mats or the brown ones from Smartliner? I believe WT is pretty costly for a name so I trust y’all insofar you already HAVE a Telluride and I’m still waiting. (Smile)

I chose the black Smartliners for my dune interior. I prefer the all-black look below the seats. Tan mats would've broken up the space too much for my taste. As far as performance, we've been pleased with how well it contains beach sand as well as my kids' messes. Hope this helps.

I was going to mention Amazon has the Smartliner mats (3 rows) for $165, but realized you are also considering the cargo mat for the set. You won’t need the carpeted mats if you buy the all-weather mats. Portions of your interior are black trim. I would say the Black mats will definitely look best.

tux mats are in stock - ordered a set of 2021s for my 2022

Anyone have the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP for the 2nd row?

IF so, are y'all satisfied with the material, fit, attachment, look, coverage of their 2nd row liner?

I'm considering some protection for the center hump and no, I don't want TuxMats.

Thanks in advance. (y)

Have you checked out Smartliner? I have been a longtime fan of WeatherTech but these mats receive good reviews here and on Amazon. They look almost identical to WeatherTech, come with a lifetime warranty, and are significantly cheaper.

I have Smartliners and am extremely happy with mine. The price couldn't be beat, and yet they are a high quality product. Cheaper doesn't always mean cheaper in quality.

I went with the OEM ones. I believe the others have no lip around the edges to hold water and dirt in. The OEM ones fit/look great. They don't cover between the 2nd row captains chairs, but I can live with that.
Smartliners do have a lip around edges and cover between the Captain's chairs. They are extremely reasonable compared to weathertec. And have lifetime warranty.
