• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I found a used Telly with over 100k. I spotted it and as I approached it, it looked pretty rough. Something was up with one of the headlights. I peeked inside and it had over 100k on the odometer.

It's an EX and they're still asking $36,000!

Nucking Futs. It went to auction twice and through a few dealers before landing here. I would have looked it up via the VIN but kia.com is still giving me access errors.

The good news is, the interior looked like it was holding up pretty well. The driver's seat was worn but not excessively. It looked like a 100k mi car seat would.

@RebelShadow I guess the original owner quit before they could catch up to you!

WAIT WHAT?! My EX cost me $38,500 and it had only 4 miles.

Lol. I'm willing to bet someone will buy it too. They don't want to wait for a new one and think it will hold it's value another 100k miles.

I'm still at 6,600 miles with my 2020 SX. It's been almost a year. Working from home has dropped tons of miles off my commute.

The Kia dealer is across the street from them!

Well maybe that explains the mark up! They want to draw potential Telluride buyers to their lot to try to sell them a Honda Pilot. That used Telluride is more of a bait and switch billboard ad. They may not be interested in selling it if it draws people in.

@ 139,936 miles and had first break down. It looks like the alternator want bad and needs replaced. Not a bad run at 140K in my opinion.

This dealer has been going out and finding "different" cars at auction lately. They're a Honda dealer, we don't have an Acura dealer so they've been bringing a lot of Acuras. Also seen some Teslas and stuff like that we don't see much of. They probably got the only Telly they could buy. I cruise all the car lots in town multiple times a week, I'd never seen a used Telluride on a lot in town. Not even at the Kia dealer.

I don't think it's a bait and switch, I think they have a used car buyer who's just trying to get his hands on some different stuff with new car inventories being low. It's not too uncommon. We have a dealer in the next city over, a Subaru dealer who's almost always the first to have a used version of a new model if they're a popular vehicle. Like if a new body style of pickup comes out, they have a used one within two weeks of new ones hitting lots.

The 101k Telly still hasn't sold, they dropped the price $300 or so. They're nice but I can't imagine being so desperate for one I'd pay $36k for one with 101k. I don't think I'd pay that if it were an SX-P.

Not bad at all.
