Ordered a 2022 sxp with nightfall

Hi everyone,

I have been lurking around these forums for a while now. First time buying new, I decided on a Telluride over a 4runner premium.

How many of you with 2021MY orders had to have your order re-entered into KDealer for the 2022 MY? My dealer did not transfer over the list.

I would have stayed 13th place if 2021MY queue rolled over, now I may be one of the first for 2022 MY.

When I asked the sales person how soon I could expect my order to be picked along with a VIN she replied with "It gets picked up by KIA months before we get a vin , we probably wont get a vin maybe till like 4-6 weeks before we will get the actual vehicle delivered."

I always thought that a VIN was generated during the start of the manufacturing process.
