  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... New guy - Rick - frustrated trying to purchase - this site is a very welcome discovery. In New Jersey. Every dealer has very low inventory and insisting on +$5k to even talk. The Tellurides and flying off the lot. I'm calling and texting around the country... We"ll see.

This usually happens when new model comes out as they are trying still to caught up with backlog who ordered 2021.. So i dunno, either you keep looking in a couple of weeks or maybe it would slow down in Sept or Oct.. or maybe try to find a dealer who are selling at MSRP or less markups (1.5K). There are people who refer the dealership that does that.

Its usually the AWD and higher trims that are hard to find a good deal or none in stock, unless you are willing to wait and have it ordered.

Howdy. Are you willing to order and wait? Also are you willing to fly and drive home? I’ve read lots of similar stories to yours on here, Reddit, and Facebook. Seems east coast and California are very difficult to buy at msrp, but there are options if you have flexibility and patience!

Thanks. I’d like to roll as soon as possible. This site has been great at helping me do that. I’ve spoken with several dealers around the country about fly-out and drive home options as well as flat-bed delivery. My ideal Telluride in less common which might help me here. I’d prefer the 21 EX FWD with Premium, or 21 S FWD. I’ll need a hitch with either. MSRP would be awesome of course but maybe I can any markup if they throw in the hitch, crossbars, cargo mats, etc.

Here are three Philly area dealers that sell at MSRP. Bergey’s Kia. Ask for Tony Galinski. Sussman Kia. Murray Kia.

Awesome! That’s excellent. I’ve already been in touch with Sussman (through this forum, no doubt). I am getting on the horn now. Wish me luck!

I just bought from Martin Kia in Newark, DE. I put down a deposit the last week of April on a 2021 EXP NF that was part of the dealer’s regular allotment. It arrived last Friday (6/18). Great experience with the dealership and salesperson (Caitlin Osborne). If you call and talk to her, she will let you know what’s coming in, when, and help you find what you’re looking for or order it.

Interesting. I emailed back and forth with them a few weeks ago and they basically told me to go pound sand, they have no Tellurides to sell. Back in May when I was researching, they were coming up $1500 over MSRP.

It was over MSRP, but nowhere near as outrageous as other dealers in the tristate area. Demand is higher than supply, so you just have to find who and what you’re comfortable with for the Tellurides. I would call versus emailing. I found throughout the search process that actual conversations were much more fruitful/productive. They also had three come in on my day of pickup.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us! What might the Telluride be replacing for you?

Any luck finding one at or close to MSRP? I'm in NJ as well and have called I think every dealer in a 100 mile radius.

Is Cherry Hill KIA still selling at msrp? I know they were last fall. GL

Try Abeloff Kia in Stroudsburg PA. I ordered in July with no markup to MSRP.
