Dune brown shortage?

I have a GWP with dune brown ordered and I’ve been watching failcat religiously. Is it just me or are there not a lot of GWP with dune brown being made currently? Maybe it’s not as popular as some of the other options such as black or gray interior…. According to the failcat stats, black and gray dominate so I guess that is why…. But I’m hoping there’s not a dune brown shortage which is causing the very low number on failcat.

I just got an eta for my dune+gravity gray today.
I’ve noticed that on failcat as well, I don’t think it’s as popular as the black or grey interiors, for some crazy reason.
I was quoted 4-6 months last March, and I’ll be right in the middle of that timeframe.
So no, I don’t think there’s a shortage.

There have been over 200 dune brown VINs created just this week; nearly 50 are in GWP. I wouldn’t be concerned.

They’re coming out for the first MY 2022 examples at roughly the same rate as they were in all of MY 2021. Not sure what you were expecting?

They're making as many as people are ordering. Black is always #1 for almost all cars. Butterscotch and Dune are only on one trim level each as well (SX and SXP respectively), compared to others being available on more trims.
