• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone have this going on? Around 7300 miles, Collision Warning and Blind-Sport Warning lights came on infrequently at first then more frequently. Took the car in on Feb 1. Dealer service center immediately blamed the added truxxx lift kit and bigger tires for throwing off sensors. I had driven 7000 miles though without an issue so wasn't convinced. But I expected the worst and thought I would end up having to reset to factory specs. Next day I received a call from service stating they discovered water intrusion from the rear wheel well that affected the wiring harness. Not a fault of the lift. Fine, they put me in a Soul loaner and ordered the parts which included a new wiring harness. April 2nd the parts still haven't arrived. They keep moving the expected arrival out 7 days days when it comes due which makes it seem like no one has any clue what's going on. Kia Corporate is now involved. Driving a Soul with "Courtesy Car" livery for 2 months.

I’m definitely going to follow this one, can’t wait to see what solves your issue. Mine has been in a few times for the drivers side blind spot detecting cars that aren’t there anytime I drive in the rain or spray the car with a hose. It just sporadically warns me of cars for a while until the vehicle is dry from driving. My dealer hasn’t found anything yet, but I’m finding a new service center. To me it seems like water getting into the connection but I don’t have the error messages you’re getting yet.

Contacted by Kia corporate office today. Parts supposed to arrive on the 8th. Slightly more confident this time. A few days of labor so best case scenario is back in action next week. I will update with actual work performed if and when complete. Very interested to see that final RO when it's available.

Just had all these warning lights pop up the other day. I’m just shy of 7,000 miles. How was this fixed and did it work?!

Hope you don't have the same issue. They had to replace the entire wiring harness. It took 3 months to get the part. Once they had it, it only took a couple days to rip out the entire interior and replace the harness. But the car sat at the dealership the entire time. Waiting on the part was miserable because they kept pushing out the date by a couple of weeks. Anyway, no problem since and all running well. Now just over 10k miles. Still have the 2" lift and larger tires.

Wtf?! It sat there for 3 months?! I wouldn’t be making those payments for 3 months and they better give me a loaner! Glad the issue was fixed.

Was this covered by your warranty?

I have a 2020 lx with 35500 miles on it and put bigger wheels and tires and I also installed the lift at about 12000 mile and I haven’t had any issues or lights on or warnings

We’ve had the ‘21 telluride in 3 times to fix the collision warning lights. What ever they did those 3 times did not work. I see that a lot of people have had this issue. They finally got the part in so will be heading in to see if this is indeed a fix. Irritating to buy a new vehicle and have faulty warning lights. Will update this thread afterward.

Was there any ideas on this, a resolution besides replacing the whole vehicles wiring harness?

I got the same issue, 2in truxx lift, was intermittent now its constant but when I go into the Telluride portal it says no issues found.

Also, we have a 21 Kia Telluride that has been at the dealership for almost a month. Today, the service guy called and told me that we need to replace the airbag control unit assembly and recalibrate all the sensors because there is a "sticky substance" all over them, which is causing the short. So this is not covered under warranty. Nothing has ever been spilled in the center console area. Then, the service guy asked if I was the second owner. Hmm, nope. Try again.

Apparently these sensors are very finicky, with everyone getting the TRUXX lift might have caused them to get out of adjustment.

According to this guy you can take the care to the dealer and just have the sensors calibrated.

I actually bought a scanner tool to do it myself, but to calibrate should be no more then 200 dollars.
