What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Finally happy to be part of the family! Got a call for a new allocated 2022 telluride ex AWD with tow package, premium package, rear entertainment package. 45,275 msrp. 49k after taxes and fees.. not a bad deal.
Will be delivered July 9th! $1k deposit.
Only downside is that it’s for my wife :/ lol
do you mind me asking, how much you end up paying monthly and if you put any money down? just wanted to know some details, since I am in kind of the same scenario.
thanks a lot

what is with you people and thinking you need lower then MSRP. This vehicle is #1 in the country and cheaper than any other SUV in its class and you are still asking for discounts. Kia pricing on their vehicles is different from other manufactures. There a difference of 1400 Dollars. Thats it!!!! Where Ford and Chevrolet have sometimes 10K between invoice and MSRP. Also, no dealer is obligated to sell at MSRP. The market determines the price and the ones selling at MSRP not doing it out of the kindness of their heart. They are getting it somewhere.
Dude...you obviously:
a) just simply do NOT understand the reason we're all on here(to learn & be INFORMED); or
b) are in the car sales business & think you can somehow "confuse" us (again, actively engaged, INFORMED consumers)?!?

Either way...please, stop wasting your time (and OURS) & take that $#!+ somewhere else. Seriously. GTFOTF

The market determines the price
Here's a question - does the "market" determine the price dealers are paying Kia for their inventory? I doubt it, at least not to the extend they are trying to fleece everyone else. Imagine the reaction from dealers if Kia just decided to slap on an extra $5,000 to their cost for "additional manufacturer markup."

In fairness, the lack of inventory is affecting dealers. (High Volume x Low Margin) vs. (Low Volume x High Margin). I don't fault dealers that do high mark ups but I wouldn't pay them myself.

But it's also hurting manufacturers, who are way down on volume for the most part, even though hungry buyers are ready to snatch up anything in sight. Yet Kia only increased the prices $100-700 for their best selling vehicle of all time, while throwing in some decent upgrades on the higher end of the price increase. Dealers add no further value, and expect to mark up $5k because the market may actually bear it. As long as there are dealers selling at MSRP, only the most impatient folks will pay over sticker - and that's fine with me, it's their money.

Sooo happy for you...know you must be stoked! I'm starting to read more & more post reg. "allocated 2022's"--any advice on how I might go about wanderin' my way into one of these deals?? Or, is it just plain...luck of the draw?! I just feel like they're on the cusp of becoming--maybe a BIT more accessible? (lots of folks ordering, then switching, etc.)

Any thoughts &/or pointers appreciated!! Again, congrats...

I purchase a '22 S w/ AWD for $44,500. About 6k over msrp but they offset some of it giving us about 4k over bluebook value for our trade. Also got 1.9% financing.
While we were in the dealership we sat and watched as the remaining 3 they had left got sold. Definitely not happy I had to pay so much over sticker price- but I do feel confident this car is going to retain a ton of value.
We were set on wanting the dark moss color, and they luckily had it available in an incoming shipment. It should be arriving in about 2 weeks.

I was looking at the Tellurides first time test drove March 6, 2021. Fell in love. This dealership didn’t have the trim color or interior I wanted so didn’t negotiate and left. From that day I called other dealerships and they didn’t have what I wanted either. I decided to not settle for less and just waited. On March 20th I decided to look online at the local Kia’s website to see what they had. Before my eyes I seen they had exactly what I wanted so I messaged the dealership to inquire about the price snd confirm availability. They texted me back within minutes. They had what I wanted and said price Selling price $47065. I told them I would be there in 10 minutes. That was the day I became a family member of Kia.

Anyone know the current financing options on a 2022? Is it still 1.9 for 66 months or is that option 60 months only now?

Wondering about expectations for price off msrp—my dealer is now taking orders but will only do it for msrp. Any ideas about negotiating price or expected rebates/incentives? Are other Kia models discounted much?
In California all dealerships I have visited/called are $7500-$10000 over MSRP for Telluride on the lot or new orders… no haggling if you don’t buy it there are dozens of other people in line that will.

I just ordered my Telluride from a dealership in Denver, CO who is doing new orders at MSRP with no markup. That will be well worth a $79 plane ride and 2-day road trip back to CA!!

That's great. EX, SX? Who is the dealer? Did they give you an idea of delivery estimate? I am in the same boat in Los Angeles area and have started calling out of state. Arizona and Nevada are mostly a bust as well.

Quite a few people have ordered from Ehrlich I-25 Kia (aka i25), about 40 minutes north of Denver, CO. They sell at MSRP with a $695 documentation fee. From comments of other buyers, many of i25's sales staff have been pretty good at handling the whole order process. Check out these other threads:
Dealers selling at MSRP in CO and Registering in CA.

In my case, my son lives south of Denver, so I go for a visit and pick up the new ride. Son took us to the mountain to see how well the Telluride is in the snow. Later, head back to CA. Not a bad drive, even in rainy and snowy February.

Here is what I ordered on 7/10 and the MSRP that I will pay. Estimate is 12-16 weeks but said it could be earlier. Also attaching the business card for the Internet sales manager that I worked with over the phone… he was great!

Thank you for the info. That is a nice looking Telluride you configured. I am having a hard time even getting call backs or replies to emails. Left a message with i25 and nothing. Sent several emails to 3 dealerships in the Atlanta area mentioned in the forum (Atlanta is close to where my family lives)....nothing. Going to keep trying. At this point, I would rather burn the money than give it to the local California dealerships trying to get 10-15k over.

From the top of my head, Carlos, Nicole, Dominic, Dumitru have all been mentioned here as great sales POCs. First initial + last name @i25kia.com for their emails.

@brianmisty

I would try calling some dealers within 1-2 hours driving distance outside of Atlanta (Montgomery, AL for example). I had a lot better luck getting responses outside of Atlanta.

@GinaD Thanks for sharing Jakeob Taylor contact. I am from CA bay area and all the dealers here and surrounding area are charging hefty markups. Please reach out to him. Very transparent. I ordered mine today with him. EX trim, Wolf gray with black interior, premium and nightfall at MSRP.

Southern California Rundown of best and finals from dealers in terms of markup, was in pursuit of 2022 "S" FWD Everlasting Silver if it helps anyone. This was all after a week of extensive back and forth:

> Kia Kearny Mesa +5K plus $1.3K security $1.3K "carefree" paint/interior warranty
> Kia National City +5K
> Kia El Cajon +0K (at MSRP) but plus $4K dealer options and none on lot until August
> Kia Riverside: +6K
> Kia Van Nuys: +10K
> Kia Moreno Valley + 15K
> Kia Irvine +2K
> Kia Carlsbad +5K
> Kia Alhambra +5k
> Kia San Bernardino +5K
> Kia Huntington Beach said maybe +2K but then upon follow up, acted like I was crazy for asking for that over phone - despite referencing email

Many others were unwilling to negotiate / quote over the phone/email and wanted me to come in. Even went as far out to Las Vegas, Austin Tx, etc but then didn't really follow up.

Final deal - we took the Kia Irvine at +2K but was able to get some throw in accessories and no dealer add-ons. Feels awful to go over MSRP but figured best within geographical region. Wondering if I did negotiation in person if it would be different - felt little to no leverage (take it or leave it and we'll still sell today attitude). And could you imagine driving around CA to all the dealers!
